Why am I not surprsied by the state of affairs in the UKI org? The slide started well back at the end of 2019 when the SE Director and VP grabbed power and got rid of experienced dedicated folks. They have milking Cisco dry for over 4 years while promoting their coat-tail hangers and pushing out loyal, hard working employees. Question anything and you get gaslighted with patronising lectures and sound bites. And then, you either get on an LR list or be called to a meeting by an empty vassal of a manager who tries to put you on PIP. Then comes the HR "consultants" who the UKI management use as their mafia enforcers. Toxicity to the extreme. Cisco ELT keeps these psychopaths as management and hopes for business to grow. "Best place to work" indeed!

Finding peace at Cisco isn’t quite possible these days…but Fran will gaslight you and encourage you to get mental healthcare if you aren’t at-peace. Just take as much PTO as you can and fly below the radar…don’t invest a minute more in this place as you need to in order to check-the-box.
