Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Intels problem

It is having too many employees doing a little work and everyone’s pay is not competitive. It’s better to have much less headcount and everyone is motivated to work really hard.

The bad behavior is being called out...
No more, no less.

There is no notion of "one is superior" and "one is inferior".

Its literally just calling out the behavior.

This undesirable behavior from this group of people is rampant, and obvious, and it's contributing to the downfall of the company.

If there is change that needs to happen, it's either work on improving this behavior or GTFO of Intel.

@1kpj Actually I think that is pretty much the dictionary definition of racism!

Im not calling everything racist. Nice going trying to reframe the situation. Im calling you and others on here constantly ragging on “all the Indians” racist. Y’all sound like some below average angry maga boiz placing blame everywhere but yourself.

If you were so much better than all these indians, go get a job at Nvidia or Apple. But no. You’re mediocre and stuck at a dying company.

Is it really racist if you see majority, if not, all of them seem to share the same trait? It sounds more like the culture and habits of people from that region, rather than it is blatant "racism".

I think the biggest problem with Intel is all the racists that place blame everywhere but on themselves. Tons of racists on these boards.

Well you know many managers don’t want to “waste” a HC on an admin but the work still has to get done. Ditto project managers.

'Three engineers doing the admin work in our team.'
I am not sure the low level lowly paid admin is the real problem at intel.

So true. Three engineers doing the admin work in our team. One setup meeting, one track jira, one track vacation and ordering

As a grade 9 engineer, I have been told many times to stay out of lab if I ever want to make grade 10.
Grade 10 and above engineers work on PPT attend meetings.

Totally agree, we could definitely sack 40% of the Manufacturing Techs in our dept. They spend the day sipping coffee and having social chats while the rest of the staff are worn out from breaking our ba--s in the fab.

Senior MTs my A-s, lazy feckers.

As for the Engineers, 1 of our newer lads is here 10months and was just pointing out how he has only met 2 of 7 of them in the fab in all that time..
