With salary ranges provided for various job levels at the bank, how much is HR going to offer candidates whether it is an internal transfer or external candidates?. How much should you negotiate for?.

You should ask for mid point and settle for slightly less. Unless you feel like you're already lucky to get the job.

Assume midpt is in middle. Assume raises slow down greatly once at midpt.
By slowdown I mean I’d you would have gotten 2.5% then expect 1.5%. No I didn’t get this from HR. Bei has this all covered very well as in black box covered. All part of efficiency and staff that perform getting sc--wed ( staff that don’t perform well…. Whatever. They exist but I’m not concerned about them ).

Check job posting for the pay range but there is no longer any type off target/midpoint. They will offer you the lowest the possibly can.
