They give you four months of COBRA for last package after the 60 days you have to find another job or sign an exit package. they will include the premium of the COBRA for the 4 months in your final payout check. then you will have the ability to pay the same rate cisco paid to the insurance company for the remaining 14 months. it is expensive though, UHC high deductible HSA was going to cost me 1100 a month for individual coverage

Not only do they stop the health coverage, they send a couple of people over to your house to rough you up and maybe break a bone or two. Very rough to be redundant these days...

When I was let go in 2020, cobra was a part of the severance package (after the 60 days mentioned above)

if they do like the last RIF, you get two months to find another role and still get paid as normal with benefits. If you are in sales, they will pay you at 80% of your number during that time. After the two months, depending on how long you have been there, you will sign paperwork to get the "package".

You have 60days after get notice, and health insurance will be end of year.
