J2 for JD thoughts?

J2 > JD.
J2 doesn't need to understand networking. He needs to make the hard calls. EOL multiple OS and product lines. Rebuild those with newer OS. EOL multiple controllers, EOL thier cloud native hosting platforms, EOL the separate visibility tools. EOL the poor man's Splunks. EOL multiple workflow tools. EOL the multiple xFlow forwarding and analysis tools. The stuff everyone knows needs to be done, but no one has the ba--s to do, because it means 100s of thier village mates lose thier jobs.
JD could not sell a vision for the future, J2 can.
I work in Collaboration, so I'm no fan of J2, as we went down since he took over Collaboration and Security. I was hoping to see less of him, not more. I thought he should be replaced, instead he is effectively promoted !
J2 is a narcissistic, attention-seeking, self-promoting poser with no substance. For some mysterious reason, CR is infatuated with him. I'm giving up my hope that J2 will be shown the door. It won't happen as long as CR is CEO. In the meantime, J2 will continue with his compulsive shopping disorder, throwing money into countless acquisitions. This time it will be worst, as he will add networking companies to his shopping spree.

External candidate would have been better. JD certainly deserved to be out. Give J2 a chance. Heck, even go for swallowing Arista visionaries.
JD and J2 are in the same league. It's very clear that Cisco has turned into a financial structure to make rich people richer. No search for external candidates to correct course, no replacing Robbins despite the market share loss again and again. No vision or strategy. Just repeat buzzwords hoping it will just work.
JD better qualified for networking group than J2 who seems to be spewing GenAI cr-p on LinkedIn
All I know is that J2 goes out of control when people put obstacles in front of him so some advice for the JD org, lower your egos or you will see the other side of J2.
Both not qualified
