Does anyone else find it tone-deaf and slightly cruel that all these execs are posting their big congrats on the promotions while the rest of us are in all these public forums and various channels having meltdowns? Jeetu posted about his promotion 1.5 hours after the earnings call lol. Wow so happy 4 u! Must be nice to know exactly what's happening to your job and when instead of playing the world's longest game of "we need to talk"

you guys have a very unrealistic expectation when it comes to job security and what you are entitled to, as an employee. you need to GROW UP.
OMG, I just read JP's Linkedin post. How unbelievably tone deaf can you be?! Seriously, you can't wait a couple weeks to brag about your promo?
Yeah I don’t trust any of these corporate sc-m bags. It’s incredible how terribly they treat their own employees. I can’t wait to get the heck out of this place. More agile companies are much better to work for because employees have a clear line of sight into the success or failure of the business. At Cisco, everyone is just a row in a spreadsheet and the ELT will gaslight you about how the business is doing.
Fu-k all of them. Sc-mbags. I am still employed and I will be golfing 3-4 days throughout the work week on their dime!
Well yeah look at the tone insensitivity of
- Chuckie announcing JD is leaving and JP is gettting an expanded portfolio and
- then JD has the audacity to say he is grateful that he is leaving and top it off
- JP has the audacity to claim I will lead you.
