I've heard people say managers have no input at all, and theres a sort of randomness to the LR. Also seen others say that managers have until next week to finalize lists.

Final notices will be sent to everyone impacted on August 26.

The wording on the CEC announcement suggests LRs will come some point after Monday’s check-in. Plus there’s no verifiable LR posts.
Considering I’ve had it confirmed (by VP) that at VP level there wasn’t confirmation of LRs until yesterday, I expect it will take some time to build a list of roles.
It’s ridiculous to suggest managers have no input.
Last time, my manager was sending out the invites Thursday 7:25am.
Their webex status is currently a sleeping symbol. Now it's 7:47am. Gosh, wake up and do your duty so we know were we stand!
Usually, notice goes out in august last week. One month to look inside Cisco or grace period for those on H1-B, if they are not that ruthless. October last week will be the final day. A lot of discussion and manager training going on now before layoffs.
No one has a source they’re just basing it off of how previous announcements have happened.
Given this page isn’t flooded with “I got the invite” posts I am unsure what the plan is this time.
