I don't know anything about Fortinet or its products and services, but a quick check on the financials show a 50% better operating margin than Cisco and a YoY quarterly earnings growth of 42.6% compared to -45.4% for Cisco. Based on this and the comments in this thread Cisco clearly doesn't want to win business from their competitors.

@ozt+1u1ftLas Chuck probably understands that. But he DGAF because he’s made his money and it’s about to be someone else’s (GS?) problem.
Wonder if Cisco realizes how many ex-employees are out there actually working hard at a competitor to take business away? I think Chuck has created an unprecedented event, a tsunami of ex employees working against them, 24x7, many with a little ax to grind after how they were treated. The severance package was nice but only goes so far in healing the soul. Unintended consequences indeed.

uhhhhh..... nobody wants revenge on cisco, they just want a steady income doing the thing they are trained to do, and hopefully enjoy as well.
