Socio is such cr-p. When they use it for the VT none of the SEs can even figure it out. Imagine normies trying to use it.
As someone from one of the PLG Companies, yeah PLG group was affected and huge budget cuts and restructuring occurred.
But we are not going anywhere. We have leaders who believe in us and fight for us and yeah the way we function will change. And from the limited knowledge I have some very cool stuff is in the works.
As far as I know, the PLG group is part of the Collaboration unit at Cisco and consists of companies like Slido, Socio, and Vidcast, which were acquired by Cisco.

From searching CEC, it looks like it means Product Led Growth.
Looks like a lot of it is Outshift Marketing. Outshift is.... a bit weird, and I think it's sole reason for being created was to directly answer the critique that "Cisco doesn't Innovate".
"Of course we innovate! Look at this whole org who's job is it do exciting innovations!" I've done some work supporting them and their initiatives are... obtuse and random. Like solar blinds in office buildings?
It seems like a big part of this LR is cutting the fat off everything that isn't our new focus. Cybersecurity, AI, Cloud.
PLG meaning product lead growth marketing? What the heck does this group do? That’s one of the problems at Cisco! There are so many overlay groups that drive up costs. Marketing is one of them - can anyone explain anymore what Cisco is!
