Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

perpetual cycle

Last LR period in my country, it took nearly 2 months from the announcement to notification due to having to do 3 consultations over a month, followed by HR training and then individual consultations - before decisions were finally made. Gutted teams only got properly reorganised for the start of Q1.

With the Q3 redundancies, Q4 EoY & Summer holidays, these Q1 redundancies and Xmas shutdown, it’s no wonder Cisco struggles. Half the time people aren’t working and the other half of the time, they’re worried about LRs and adjusting to the changes.

Yeah, but we realign ! And change is good …. If only our leadership would take the real cost into account or layoffs and the fact the company (except some robots and special people) halts during these times
And since we have it every couple of months it is constant ….
