Been with Cisco for 16 years, age 50... In the last 2-3 days 2 people from Cisco checked my Linkedin profile in private mode. I survived a lot of LRs, might not survive this one.

Left cisco back in 2021 after 15 yrs and in my early 50’s. Get out while you can. Working for a phenomenal company who truly cares about their employees. My plan is to retire from here.
cisco is a cesspool!
Had my profile viewed in recruiter mode x3 this week. I’m only 3.5 months into my role too so I wouldn’t be eligible for redundancy in my country.
Sigh.
If you are working in the area of cybersecurity or AI, then you will less likely to be impacted.
My profile was viewed 4 times today in "Recruiter" mode as well. We are being analyzed.
The more you work for the same company, the more you put yourself in risk. Doesn't matter how good company is.
I think 5-6 years are max.
time to buy linkedin membership lol and then you know who
This is always the due diligence HR and Legal do to cover themselves from legal action
This is silly. What are the odds someone in my company views me on Linkedin?
You just nerves, nothing else!
Time to activate that free Linkedin Premium trial to see who viewed your profile. Use it to look for a new job as well
How do you check if it was reviewed in Linkedin Recruiter mode?
Confirming my profile was checked 2x today in LinkedIn recruiter mode to be confidential. I’m in J&C. If the people looking at my profile don’t have access to my resume this is the quickest way to see someone’s work history.
I can confirm this also happened to me for the Feb 2024 LR. All the sudden, I was getting more views on my profile a few weeks before I was notified.
What is the significance of them looking at the Linkedin Profile of those that are being LR'd? Sorry if that's a d-mb question...
Nah I doubt cisco folks checking out your profile recently is linked to lr
What’s the purpose behind checking LinkedIn profile before deciding to put someone on LR? Checking if the person has enough fire power to land at a competitor? Most Cisco folks are highly educated and qualified, yet seen folks with great past, and with CCIE and other Certs getting laid off.
idk but I know from myself (LR‘ed in February) and from few others as well with similar experiences. People from HR checking out the profile - and as well the director, who put me on the list checked my profile before.
