Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Slow Down

Anyone looking for work or hoping they dont get LR’d during this absolute dumspter fire of a situation should just initiate a slow down.

Not a strike, don’t unionize, just do the absolute bare minimum at the slowest pace possible.

Don’t go out of your way to get work done when they’re trying to hang the axe over your head until “maybe October” before people know if they’re laid off.

Cisco is taking it slow, why shouldn’t you?

Just quit. Stop hamstringing the rest of us and hurting our customers.

In the spirit of a certain scrivener, when asked to perform a task, I simply respond, 'I'd prefer not to.

"Exactly. My strategy is just to show up on mandatory calls, no video, on mute … anything else I’ll be absent. I’ll be doing nothing but job hunting the entire time. With or without being LR’d — it’s time to get out of the burning dumpster"

100%. So will most. Anyone older than 50 will want an LR so as to get the fu-k out of this woke and dysfunctional company with some $$$. And those that don't are fools. Hard work at Cisco means a bigger goal and more to do next time. Success is penalised. Do what you have to and no more. Anyone can be LR'd at the drop of a hat. If you think otherwise you need to wake the fu-k up and smell the coffee.

Nice try. Yes you all please go ahead and do that so you may be prime candidates for layoffs and spare me.
