Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

On Timing

In February, most U.S. employees were notified Thursday (day after earnings). There was a leader check-in that same week (I think Friday), and there was a Cisco Beat scheduled the following week (sometime between Monday-Wednesday). I reposted this as someone put it in as a reply in one of the threads - not sure if this helps but it's a gauge. I'll see if I can find some old threads from 2022 and 2023 LRs, maybe that helps as well, I'll post them below.

The timing of the manager check-in (Fri morning) and all employees check-in (Mon morning) is probably the most reliable signal we have of what's going to happen.

They had to have some kind of plan in mind when they chose the timing of those, since they know that they're going to get blasted with questions at both calls if they continue to be vague.

I think they have to give the managers major clarity and substance at tomorrow's call, so after that we'll probably be able to get a lot of new info from them.
