Will new hires still in their 90 days be at risk in the first cut next week?

Yes. It has happened before. I’ve also seen fresh out-of-college graduates with < 6 months tenure get LR’ed. No one is safe - if you’ve joined Cisco, keep your resume updated every quarter.

Next week cut VPs, directors, senior managers. If you are impacted next week, RSU will be vested quickly and your severance will be at least 4 months pay+ 60 days holidays, even you just start work less than 3 months. you are so lucky that I do believe Company absolutely not so stupid.

Back in 2018, I was part of the big CX LR. Started in July, got my severance in November. Only a few weeks before Thanksgiving

A--holes.

It’s unlikely that new hires will be impacted. But I’ve seen new hires impacted in the past. It’s out of your hands either way. It doesn’t matter if you’re the best team member or the worst team member. No bearing whatsoever.

Only if you were jobless when they hired you.otherwise you can sue them for losing your previous job
