It is sorta sad but we should have seen it coming. When they moved to sweatshop seating, they called everyone in the office to pack up their cubes as there would be no assigned seating. The writing was on the wall.

You will get a last minute meeting with your manager (or 1 up). Just be calm and professional since you can still be fired for cause for the next 60 days. The people charged with giving you the bad news did not make this decision. The executives made this decision and are making the front line managers do their dirty work.
