I can tell you this every single retiree I know or have talked to have told me (weather the got another job or not or retired with 25 or more years) every single one said that they wish they had left sooner
There will never be a 3&3 or anything like that because the last time the company offered that was about 20 years ago and the union filed board charges against the company for bribing union employees to leave hence reducing the union’s income
Yes, $100,000 goes very quick with inflation rising and electric / gas bills all doubling
That is correct you leave when your ready to go and you have crossed your T's and dot your I's.DO NOT let the company influence you to leave with alittle $$ on the table,before you know it you too may be finding yourself looking for work later on,cause it has happened to many that have left this place too early in their careers.So make sure you have your house in order before you sign those papers.
Extra money to retire is great . A little bonus if you are ready. But if you have to ponder about it you are not ready 100.000 goes quick if you are not properly prepared.
Not sure when a package will be mailed we heard by next month and didn’t they offer a 3/3 last time in NY and MA?
29 years and I will probably wait another year or two till end of contract
Economy can turn quickly and a job is what everyone needs when that time comes… I doubt they will meet their numbers for cutting payroll

Some might say the offer is garbage, others are gonna take it and run. Don’t know what you really expect them to offer you anyways.
3&3, 6&6 were more helpful to those of a certain age with < 30 years.
For others, it would only help if you chose the annuity.
yes i just got my package ,its garbage so i will continue to go to work and take there money .since theres very little work ,ill gladly take you money VZ for the next couple of years.
There will never be a 6&6 or 3&3 again, no need to . So you can stop dreaming . And yes , the package has been sent out in NY
if they gave a 6&6 package i think most would leave..no package yet ,but will stay a few more years
