I heard Risk will be hit. Is there any truth to this rumor?

Turns out this was true. several people displaced in risk on tuesday. at least 4 or 5 i know of so far but not a ton of transparency on the actual total.
BS post about BS jobs that produce BS results. I am calling BS.
Corp risk is the rotten putrid he-l hole at the center of Wells Fargo. It is the most toxic function in the bank. Everything it touches dies. Everyone above M4 and with 8 years at wells is a certified crook. They need to all go.
This is how bad things are. If you are young enough you won’t care about health insurance because you will always be healthy. If you are over the prime age but a bit away from Medicare you worry because private health insure will slam your savings if you don’t find another job. Or you look forward to 65 because now you qualify for medicare which is way cheaper than anything else.
Shouldn't be too long to find out...
CDO out
Does risk include risk positions or a department? I just wondered if anything like QA or other ORR positions would be affected in places like ECR ECMO
No. Wishful trolling.
I'm just pretending other teams call my team members lazy (but not me) because of my hatred of Compliance, I don't understand the downvotes???? The spammed upvotes are a-ok though and not suspicious at all.
Fake news. Risk is the Crown Jewels of this company.
Boise ECMO too
I work in risk, since in my area of risk ,
they are training India currently with a ton of open job postings in India as well. It's just a matter of time I'm sure, seems to be sooner than later now. Tides have changed. Brace yourself, winter is coming , etc... it all applies to the sh-t show of WF.
Hope finance is part of it!
WAVE2 displacements for people under Head of IT, among others, is tomorrow...
“can you also say that out of every 10 people you work with, there aren’t 2 or 3 that don’t pull their weight at all, and you wouldn’t really miss if they were gone?”.
No, if IT&V or EBCE I would say 6 out of 10 aren’t helping the bank.
FCRM took a hit the week before last. Several people on high positions.
Cybersecurity?
@beo+1u4JDQrM So I posted this, not understanding the downvotes, this is all factual, included the “bloated” and “not doing much”, which is feedback from my risk partners on their larger teams across a few risk types and my CRO team. While they get badmouthed plenty, they aren’t d-mb, and many realize that they have been safe for a long time, which has made plenty of people on their teams complacent and/or lazy.
If the downvotes are coming from well intentioned people in risk who don’t like or don’t agree with what I’m saying, can you also say that out of every 10 people you work with, there aren’t 2 or 3 that don’t pull their weight at all, and you wouldn’t really miss if they were gone?
What about FCRM?
Doubt it. The one troll here just has a weird axe to grind with them and makes this s up all the time.
It has already been going on in corporate risk.
The layoff like one or two from each group , so people won’t notice.
Turning 58 next month, so I hope so. Would be a great birthday present!
I know my Compliance team got hit a few weeks ago. Risk is no longer fully protected like they have been for so long for a couple of reasons, and it’s overdue, they are bloated and plenty of people not doing much.
Nah, fake news as usual on here.
Tuesday is supposed to be a blood bath across the board in all LOBs. Brace for impact. 🚩🏃🏼♀️
No you didn’t lol
