Is it more if you were RIF then receiving pension. ex; RIF package and pension would be more then taking only pension. I know it is a stupid question, but I think if you were RIF VZ would give you a payoout plus if you qualify for pension that too.

If you are the subject of a RIF and you are retirement eligible with a pension, yes, you can initiate your retirement on or after your RIF off payroll. The benefits office has a special dept to help you work through you retirement options. Call them.
Management pension was frozen years ago and if you also have an associate pension that was frozen when you became management. Call Benefits.
