The leadership was hired to cut costs, and are very skilled at that. If your job is to eliminate 15,000 jobs... you don't say your role is eliminating jobs.
You market yourself as a CX, IT, Services or Operations expert. Use high-level buzzwords to distract employees while doing your real job of eliminating jobs.

Stop Working hard, you do need Woke up. Prepare your resume, start looking around. Make yourself ready to find another job. If you can easily find another job they can not hurt you.
