When they hired me five years ago, they low balled me big time.
I didn't have a choice but to take it, as I was unemployed.

It a risk to be under the lower level of your pay class. You should have a convo with your manager to get an adjustment to market rate.
Thank you OP!
Hey, good news: If you deserve more, you will have no problem finding a better job elsewhere. Unless you prefer to do nothing and whine.
Yeah, Wells Fargo fu--s you over for loyalty. In the old days you had to hop internally every few years to avoid the sh-t %2.2-3 raise. Now you can't do that because of cost/india/junior-ification. Best to wait it out and collect the salary continuation leave if you can (less ho----s and blow for Charlie and his friends), or move on. There is no opportunity or growth - only outside hires of dubious qualification.
It all depends on your 1up, 2 up possibly 3 up facilitator. Remember, there are no managers at Wells Fargo. Just a bunch of managers in name only (MINO). I also like how the "team" partitions out story points. Agile at its worst....
I know I sure don't get paid well. I've been cheated out of bonuses by being moved to other teams right before the bonus period ended, meaning wasn't eligible. For the last 4 years they've found any little reason to ding me on reviews and not give me a raise. "On you had 1 attendance occurrence this year." "There was a mistake with a process this year. Even though you called it out several times and then implemented a workaround solution when it broke, we still view you as responsible. No raise" "You only worked an average number of support tickets last year, even though they were more complex requests that required more time and effort. Inconsistently meets."
I'm so ready to be laid off.
Yep.
You've heard the saying "Beggars can't be choosers"
Invest in NVDA. Make money in stocks to compensate for a lower paycheck
Sounds like you need to hit the job boards. This is the game and it isn't unique to WF.
And????? 🤦♀️
Well, good for you.
Now go back to your low paying job and quit rambling on about nothing.
