Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Thank you WF!!!

Just a shout out to WF leadership for the displacement and cush severance package which will carry me well into next year.

Been working multiple remote jobs since I started at WF and can say that the pss poor leadership and disorganization under our "N"th Head of IT (sht how many has it been? 4? 5?) has enabled me to focus on those other remote jobs while earning over well over $1M since I started working here, doing practically nothing aside from watching WF tech implode and collecting a free paycheck. Numerous CISO's. DE&I genius hires. Meetings for nothing. People inventing work for nothing. There were so many other people around me ki-ling themselves to "impress" that it made the decision to sit back and relax very easy.

So, thank you WF. Much appreciated.

I could retire now, but I'm going to wait for Shart to pay me to go. The POSs in their ivory tower don't deserve to get what they want. I'll keep doing my job, waiting patiently. FHY.

"I pity the id--ts who worked here slaving away thinking they will be rewarded..."

Why?

I WAS rewarded! After 30 years of faithful service, wells rewarded me with 14 months of 'sendoff' money! easily facilitated my transition to retirement!

Fantastic!

Cheers!

@qok

It's just as bad, if not worse in India. They straight up just outsource their 1+ jobs and collect the difference. You can't even be sure the person you hired is doing the work.

Or, you’re just a narcissist.

Annnnnd this is why they keep shifting headcount offshore, away from entitled pricks like you. Hard to blame them.

Way to make yourself feel better about being laid off to a bunch of internet strangers. Best of luck with your 10 jobs!

@pan My only issue with the person who was working 3 jobs is they were sc--wing 2 other people out of jobs.

Lol! Our former colleague is an example our leadership and some managers should follow: 1) Exit the Stagecoach, which by the way has been phased out of our Brand; 2) Admit your actions were unethical and detrimental to the stability of this organization; 3) Be thankful on your way out you hadn't been sanctioned or caught for your double dipping.
Good.luck and congrats on navigating this mayhem.

Wells Fargo steals from us when it makes us go to the office and pay for parking when non of our team is at the assigned location.

Shame on Wells Fargo for SO many things but seriously dude, you are out here spewing pride about how you are an unethical person? Working multiple jobs at the same time and getting paid, while I'm sure you are only doing a half@ss job at best for anyone. It's called stealing jack@a-s. Just because you can get away with it doesn't mean you should. Karma - while you may have gotten one over in several employers this time, it will catch up to you. Always does with people who are losers like you!

A person on our team that says YES to everything, so I don’t have to. It’s been great!

Obviously the world changes and WF is no exception, but it used to be you could have a life-long career here and the culture was great in most areas. It was common to watch people retire after decades of service.

The 20-30 year veterans have dedicated a huge chunk of their life only to be sh-t on. WF has many areas where unique knowledge is required and it's going to be difficult for many to transfer that experience. We all have some personal responsibility to ourselves, as it doesn't pay to be loyal, but still it's hard to watch the bank go downhill.

@iuy+1u6BQfwk, whatever...

I pity the id--ts who worked here slaving away thinking they will be rewarded...

I especially like the d-mbfounded reaction of the 20+ year employees when they were notified. What? You think you were special because you worked here so long?
