Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Legal Benefit

I elected into the legal aid benefit (forget what it's called exactly), but wondering if I get laid off, can I use it to examine the legality of the layoff? i.e., can it be used in litigation against WF?

Assuming there is probably some clause, but maybe not?

That’s right. Even if your boss makes multiple overtures to join her for jello wrestling at her place ARAG won’t cover it. Not surprising really.

ARAG doesn't cover "Matters arising out of your profession, business interests, occupation, employment, workers or unemployment compensation, relocation required by an employer, patents or copyrights." You could have clicked on the benefits guide and read that faster than posting this.

I was displaced on 5/14; I have severance until the end of October and am still able to use my Legal benefit, however, the 'employment' part of it is disabled when you are displaced. So NO, you can not use that plan to look into the legality of the displacement. You can check your coverage online, or call them and they will tell you the same. Wishing you the best
