There are confirmed layoffs happening 9/17 for remote people reporting up through Ellen K.
Makes sense as it would shaft people out of their 401k match

500 people were downsized on 8/20. Less than average, but that's little comfort to those people.
The expected massive layoff of 8/20 was cancelled since it became an ‘expected date’ for many groups. The strategy now is to still go forward with the layoffs but by city or region.
