Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Global Employee survey is coming on September 4th

I haven’t heard results from last year’s one. I guess, it was so great that we don’t meed to talk about it at all.

Also we were emailed die reports today as well. This time around these reports do not have much of actual data/numbers compare to previous reports.

Our line of business has reviewed the results at a team level (10-15 members) level up (180 employees) and compared to ratings from other similar companies.

My manager sets a plan to address areas that are lowest performing directly for her, and then reviews the stats for the team as a whole to understand if there's something our team is doing well but the larger (180 employees) group is performing lower (i.e. discuss best practice).

Not providing a completed survey is as useful as not voting in an election; you don't have to write something salacious to get 'in trouble for' while providing a 'rated' feedback. Be honest, but not out of line.

Can you show us on the doll where the food delivery boy touched you?

If you get laid off, you can always become a food delivery l o s e r. Bring people old, cold food because you tried to sneak another delivery in to make $3 or whatever.

They encouraged, reminded, damn near forced us to take that survey and then we never heard a single thing again about it or were shared the results. That right there tells me how bad they must have been. People are miserable. When I greet people and ask how they are doing, the response I hear most often are "I'm...here.."

Surveys result is bad every year for Technology but no one ever get fired. It’s not anonymous. They wanna find out who is not loyal to them and fire them.

I haven’t heard anything from the last two times they sent the survey. But I also didn’t take the survey because it’s not confidential. I’ll never take those surveys again.

Has anything ever come out of these surveys? From what I’ve seen they use them to support the things they already want to do. Example “70% of people hate RTO. We hear you and that’s why were going to spend $50 million making the offices more modern.” Um, okay, if that’s how you want to interpret it.

Was there ever a so-called “pulse check” at some point this year based on a small sample of employees. Boss is claiming this to be the case and that his results were “stellar” but never shared anything and if you actually surveyed anyone from his org the answer would be VERY far from stellar.

Because the albatross we have worn for years (3) is such a warm fuzzy, with the triple workload from our decimated teams and controls pile-on… kudos for the ask but steel yourself for the answer you know is coming!

I'll never do GSE again. F Shart is all I have to say, and they don't care, so why waste the time. Not taking it will send a 100x stronger message.

My larger team had 2 calls about the results, there were a couple of takeaways, and then the whole thing disappeared like it never happened.
