Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

RCSA

The employees on the FST for RCSA how were they chosen? Did the manager give them up for RCSA? Were they delayed from a lay off? Some of these employees are talented & now they are being told they aren’t going back to their old jobs & some aren’t in core locations. Were they just used to help get the asset cap lifted & will be rewarded with a lay off?

@fwd+1u9Z4gI5 there are contractors that are FST but they are being phased out. FST = Facilitation Team for RCSA. The majority however are Wells Fargo employees.

i'm a manager who had to give someone to RCSA

how they were chosen: We were given criteria for eligibility (job level, location) and a number of FTE we had to provide based on the overall composition of my boss's team. From there we worked across my boss's team to figure out how to do the least harm to our business goals by reallocating work to free those people up.

The people we sent over are about to come back, and they do have jobs in the same OC+1 unit that they were in before RCSA.

My LOB required that they live in charlotte - no travel or remote work permitted for RCSA, so none would be impacted by location strategy.

Yes, the plan is to cycle these people through RCSA and then offload them with layoffs once that effort winds down.

I got lucky - was fst but going back to my old position. They wanted me to train India and I gave them the bare minimum. Not my problem anymore

Not a single fact in this thread. Go back to making fun of Iowa .. or was it Charlotte?

Most of them were just glorified typists. Fill in the blanks with info the business needed to provide. And a few were self-annointed gurus who opined about some arcane compliance issue that has no relevance to the actual work conducted.

I was once on RCSA and of course I got canned. RCSA is the equivalent of what Disney did a few years ago. Layoff a bunch of folks and made them the train the new India employee before they left.
RCSA took the best and brightest to complete the initial RCSA to past muster because the new hires in India are too green to figure it out. That way, when the the annual RCSA refresh comes around the the newbies will be able to handle the fake science.
To he-l with mediocrity, and to he-l with RCSA and WF!!

FTE, all of them that I am aware. No contractors.

Kind of ironic isn't it. People choosing RCSA didn't figure out the risks involved. No wonder why it took so long for the asset cap to be lifted (if it will be lifted).
