Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

CP Compensation

There is compensation that should be on your pay for tomorrow. Don't get too excited. It is not commensurate with the amount of time worked. Supposedly it's higher if you were deployed out of state, but local deployments got a lot less. (Like if the numbers I heard were correct, a lot, a lot less.)

So... Putting these two together. It appears to be $500 a week. I sense a case of covid coming on in 2025 for me.

I'll see your calculations and raise you a spoiler. 3k

I wasn’t expecting anything and it looks like I’ll be receiving several thousands of dollars in pay and bonuses.

I’m a CP Manager and I approve this compensation.

"$500 and I got my deployment notice on the Friday before the strike ended. I never reported."

"2k. I’ll take it. "

Did you do the whole 31 days or did you come in some time after 8/17 (first full day of strike). We had some start day1, and then others that phased in each week.

Are they keeping those numbers tight to the vest?

“Need it because I RTO, 3 hrs a day.”
You should still be using the additional savings you accumulated during the pandemic.

Best to put your CP cash in a savings account to have some extra padding for your upcoming layoff notice. Sock the money away so it is out of sight for now.

Disclaimer: YMMV. May depend on which org you came out of and what your CP assignment was. But I'd call it more of a recognition award than an actual compensation for the work.
