Connect Week - week 2 observation

Seems like there are less people in the building which tells me more employees are coffee badging.... will hours in the office eventually be tracked?

Funny how perception is reality especially at Fido...if you need to walk around the site have some sort of folder/notebook in your hand.

There are senior leaders onsite this week for my campus. No one is showing up… makes the whole department look bad

We’re not going to win the RTO battle. The time when employees were in control is over. It’s obvious a lot of the company was hired remote and don’t know how things really are.

I see a lot of people leaving during lunch time. People really don’t want to be in these offices. Especially now that we have no snacks.

Badge in, badge out, multiple times a day, and just sit in my car working remotely, but can be at my desk for a couple of the prime visibility hours.

Coffee badging is a thing because office politics and drama is so bad. HR can’t do anything about how toxic things are and employees just have to sit there and deal with terrible coworkers.

I’ve noticed the in office weeks that employees are “more productive” really just need to work the rest of the month to fix the in-office mistakes

I love the 'boomer' comments. Keep 'em coming - you sound like a whiny crybaby who got a participation trophy for showing up. BTW - how is the planned 'walk out' coming along? LMAO

I think it’s because the RTO has been run like an HOA. They will annoy you about it, but don’t really ever plan on doing anything other than putting names on some list. I understand, in this environment, it might be more risky. But I think people are tired of managers and HR just trying to scare everyone.

Could be wrong, but that’s the impression I’ve gotten since the change

How early are people leaving? I know there are shifts that end at 1 so maybe they have an early shift?

You can exit Durham through the coffee shop without badging.

If you've been doing that, whelp, you FAFO'd.

The back door method doesn’t really work. They require badge outs to go through the turnstile to leave the building at the end of the day and they have said that they require badging out. If people are missing a badge out for the day then it’s likely to get flagged. Keep doing it and see what happens.

In Durham, they leave out the doors by the FauxBucks. No need to badge out there.

Hundreds of people leave early by way of that loophole.

I hope they get busted.
