Unethical behavior

I’ve been with Wells for many years and I’ve never seen the sort of unethical behavior as I have lately. Employees are so afraid of missing a deadline or ending up on a report that they are doing anything they can to not miss the deadline or land on a report. They are creating loopholes, getting “creative”, begging people to approve of things, rephrasing things to avoid the problem. No one seems to care to do the right thing anymore - as long as they aren't late, they don’t care. Isn’t this exactly what led to our problems before?! People are acting like the my are scared to death because I think they are. This toxic and unethical behavior has to end.

We were told do whatever you need to to never be late on anything. I’m doing whatever I need to to avoid getting in trouble. The corruption is real but I have a family to feed.

This behavior does not break your at-will contract with the Bank. You are welcome to terminate just as quickly as they can. I see nothing in your note that meets the elements of Intentional Inflict of Emotional Distress. IIED must meet the condition of behavior not accepted by social norms and standards. Mere inconveniences an employee experienced during a businesses BAU activities affords you no remedy.

And this surprises you? We do so many things that drive the absolutely wrong behaviors. Oh this process takes 6-8 months to get thru. Well I’ll just use something else that makes it look like I went thru the process. Oh I have unrealistic cross sell quotas? I’ll just open accounts without them knowing. Oh my jira stats are gonna look bad, I’ll just change things so they don’t.

My manager took away my resources but won’t move my target date and told me if I miss my date I will be rated below meets. Such leadership incentivizes employees to do anything, even if unethical, to get the job done by the required date.
