“ Glamor title the majority are just planners, very few PE’s.”

That’s the truth, techs in the field are the real engineer’s, majority of the time they have to re-engineer and submit as-builts. Especially on throws, road moves and cable reclamation.

Having come from Verizon to T, things are fairly even across the board, switchblogos and most couldn’t tell the difference. Interviewed with T-Mobile 7 months ago and got an offer letter, the base salary was less than T but at risk comp was more and made the overall comp package more, I pushed for higher base and didn’t get the job.

You can’t compare AT&T titles because they don’t match industry standard job descriptions. AT&T engineers are not engineers. You will learn that once you are surplused.

18% less than the T-Mobile average is considered to be equivalent? My monthly charges are $217. I should pay only $178 and we can call it same-same.

I'm curious, but not enough to research it; do the other two have as many widespread corporate-type locations? I'm sure the T locations in the South bring down the averages. Cost of living is lower, and T never really brought the BellSouth titles/salaries in line with other places using the excuse of lower COL. I've always wondered who the heck the people were in the upper-mid to high range of the pay scale were, because they're not the people in the SE/Legacy BellSouth.
