This ^ below, things outside your control, why worry, stress will only ki-l you. Up skill, live below your means and always be ready for worse case scenario.

You know...as someone who is not worried about being laid off (and if I do...new job in a few weeks...I am in demand) all of these things should be already happening. I sell stuff on Ebay to generate money for vacations. I have internet for life, dual bonded VDSL for $45, never carry a balance on cards. When I retire...it will just feel normal when not getting the salary I am used to. We all need to live a bit more frugal...as I watch the cleaning services stop at my neighbors....and the lawn care....and the new cars. I have a mid 90's truck, a 2012 honda...both will get me where I need to go. I don't NEED stuff...but I do have money in the bank so when I WANT stuff.

Rediscover what you already own. When was the last time you had board game night with the family?

Tell your kids and wife you are on a budget. Instead of vacations, take them to local museums, parks and drive to the beach instead of flying.

I bought an air fryer. Amazing how cheap you can make chicken wings for.

A can of beans instead of meat reduces the grocery bill and gives you protein..

All juice, soda, tea replaced with water…

Buy generic, switch to a discount phone carrier, meal prep, pack your own lunch, make your own coffee, use coupons and digital app deals, look for credit card discounts, don’t shop when hungry, drink more water, repair clothes, go to different grocery stores for different sale items, google free things to do this weekend in your city, stop scrolling and learn a new skill

Tap water is bad for health.

Buy a filter, $200 filter will be fine

Quit alcohol, do your own nails, hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, lips, skin care, home improvements, painting & design, car maintenance, dog training, laundry/ironing, & grow fruit trees instead of a lawn (in Cali or SW)
