It’s just another way to su-k us so deep into work that we lose sight of our own lives. Corporate culture is like a fu--ing cult. Everything is there - fear, anxiety, being overworked so you can’t think straight. They even still try to sell you identification with the company, loyalty and prestige, Regardless of the fact that these days even small babies know it’s all lame cr-p. Under all and any circumstances separate work from your life, and always give priority to your life.
