Office Flexibility After Wave 3

New AT&T job posting that proves that T is easing up on strict office locations. This is not fair for the remaining Wave 3 employees that were ensnared in the layoff scheme.

"JOB LOCATION: 208 S Akard St, Dallas, TX [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]"

How's that for a non-specific location commitment?

“I’m old and they are surplussing me because I refused to move.”
That’s the reason. Sure.

“I don’t need to look at job postings to know that RTO is easing. I’ve had several people in our org have their occupancy indicator changed to National Virtual Worker (NVW)“

Can I have your ATTUID so I can add you to my witness list?

I don’t need to look at job postings to know that RTO is easing. Several people in our organization had their Occupancy Indicator changed from Future Office Worker (FOW) - which meant it was only a matter of time when they would ask us to move to a hub - to National Virtual Worker (NVW), which is the same as the old TW Teleworker designation. So I get to keep working from home.

“HR now checking who has clicked those three positions so they can guess who lingers at this site. Y’all fell for it. Now on a list.”

It was probably my wife, the attorney. Sure hope HR can guess who is lingering in a wave pending layoff due to refusal to move, while HR simultaneously allows the submission of a replacement requisition that clearly states they can work from home.

“I’ll just coffee badge, I literally don’t give a sh-t no one has been fired for it.
I only go in 1 day a week now, have been for months no one says sh-t.“

That’s cuz tracking/pinging computers has not worked properly. Guessing they’ll try cell towers/Cou device tracking in short order.

I’m in Wave 3. I’m going to apply and not tell them where I work. I want to hear what they say about work location. Hopefully they tell me all I need to hear to blow the doors wide open on this layoff scam. Di-k Tracy

“ Those remaining employees are dead weight.”

The heaviest “dead weight” is in the C suite.

Given the incredible vagueness, kindly F off with that nonsense. RTO is and will continue to be in full bloom.

"Most job postings by Tech companies are "ghost" jobs. They post them to collect resumes and do analysis but they aren't interviewing or hiring. Most tech jobs are moving to India and to AI."

The job postings are on the external and internal ATT website with a specific requisition id. Go search yourself and you will see who the hiring manager is.
