Anyone wait to sign displacement agreement

I was displaced last Tuesday with a handful of my teammates and am pondering waiting to sign the agreement. From what I've read, I don't see any issue on putting this off until the 40th day (we have 45 days to sign for severance).
Am I missing anything? Anyone have experience one way or another?

If you are getting an attorney to review then fine, wait the full 45 days. If not, sign and begin the healing process.

No reason to wait. Sign it and plan your next moves.

I am not sure what I'd be expecting to happen in that 40 days. Is it non working time, part of the 60 days? What's the benefit of waiting unless like someone mentioned you're getting a lawyer to review?

If you’re getting a good attorney to look it over if only for peace of mind that makes sense. I’m yet to hear of any successful renegotiations here, which doesn’t mean anything.

What bargaining power is it that you think you have? Are you going to threaten them with a lawsuit?
