Thread regarding Fidelity Investments layoffs

Looks like we made it

The month is almost over with no indication of layoffs. Managers are still acting normal so they probably haven’t heard any news of layoffs yet either.

I think we made it this month and maybe even next month. Senior management always gives it away when there will be layoffs, the ones I’ve seen don’t have a poker face.

Earlier this month, people were asked to quit by end of the month if they were not able to relocate. I know its last week for some of them who were good performers.

You might have made it, but please understand that others may be going through something different this week. And please don’t assume if there’s no communication about a layoff that you hear, that it doesn’t mean roles were not eliminated.
