Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Non Assigned Location question

I heard there is a flag that notes if you use non Assigned locations 50% of the time. Is that a weekly flag (or is the 50% calculated over the course of a longer rolling period?) Do managers have to do their own digging to see who is non-compliant with this or is it given to them on the report?

Also, as long as the office is a hub location and there are teammates in both, does it really matter what office one goes too (ex. there may be training events and lunches in a different office in the same area).

I have a peer that worked out if two offices in different states, both hubs for the division and she was told to pick one, that she can no longer go between. She had been doing this about 10 years but now all of a sudden it’s not acceptable. Not a performance issue as they’ve always had above meets ratings.

FHY and F their stupid petty "reports". I got a report right here that says they are all worthless POSs that should be fired immediately for gross incompetence. We need to shut down Hudson Yards and fire everyone there.

@kbt+1uLMbYns but they don’t have the authority. They are granted the temporary authority to provide us leeway but to get themselves off reports to Sr Leaders the managers need to work with HR to make changes permanent.

End of the day, do not trust any authorization to function outside of defined policy even if you have it in writing when it comes from your manager. They may be acting in full good faith but ultimately YOU will be held accountable with a stiffer penance than your manager.

It's time for WF to make a solid decision regarding RTO.
Managers that have the "authority" to decide policy for their team shows there is really no right or wrong.
I prefer wfh or working in other locations in my city and remember when it wasn't an issue.

The report shows the buildings you are in. Up to your mgr on what they do with it.
Source: I’m a mgr and see the reports.

There is a dot right next to your name if you are going in 50% of your days somewhere else. This is based on the rolling avg. There is also a dot of your MAC code doesn't match your assigned location. Doesn't matter if there are two admin buildings within your area. It's just a simple black and white situation.

One of the biggest issues is in Charlotte where too many people are going to Ballantyne instead of Uptown or CIC. Not too many areas have multiple admin buildings though.

It’s going to vary by LOB even by manager and scrutiny / thresholds can always change.

As a manager I don’t turn a blind eye but just focus on is the employee hitting the 3+ on a 12-wk basis without hairsplitting on assigned location.

I would ask your manager. They would let you know if there is an issue on their end.

I heard it has to be your assigned location even if you drive past a location that is closer to you.
