If AI is/will be so good make a system where employees could imput those ideas and let AI have a crack at them. Since it doesn’t take time off that shouldn’t be a problem.

I’d bet half of it has already been identified by employees, but shot down somewhere in mid management. I have seen many of cases where consultants hand over plans to the company and it looks very similar to the ideas employees have sitting in their desk already but were told they did not have time for it. But we pay a consultant to tell the executives what the worker bees already know.
