Just to let anyone know (who doesn't already) that you should be for sure getting your deposit tomorrow if you are set up for direct. I logged in to my VZ Work History Link and it shows the amount in there.

Mine was more like 35% total tax, 22% special Fed Rate the rest of the taxes added up to be about 13%.
Mine was not taxed at 40%, the Fed tax for a lump-sum/ bonus payment is a Flat 22%. ( Depending on your tax bracket). Social Security is taxed at 6.2 %, and Medicare is 1.45%.
I bet that RSUs will be taxed like crazy too.🙄
So is everyone in all states getting 40 percent in taxes? That sounds absolutely outrageous.

so many taxes were taken out...had 30,000 supposed to be given they took out around 12,000
RSUs are paid out within 60 days of our last day on payroll per our paperwork. I see my severance in work day with a 10/2 active date so hopefully it will post to my account tomorrow.
