Thank you for the early Christmas bonus... I was displaced last month and already started working at my new job... Loving the two paychecks...

you are welcome - a VP
"Hope you don't get caught a lose your severance."
What? Pretty sure if you get a new job they just jump sum pay your severance. It's yours once fired.
That’s the goal at this point. CONGRATULATIONS. Best of luck :)
How does one work during their notice period? You are still a WF employee. I hear that a fair amount but not sure it’s true. If WF finds out, you are terminated and lose severance.
I worked during both my notice period and severance. The AI training I did on my own time before being laid off paid me back in big time. After the layoff, I took 3 weeks off, traveled to Italy, and got my resume updated. Sent a few off during this trip. I had 2 interviews lined up when I got back. Next week I had 3 more interviews. I have a new job and am 7 years ahead of what I was doing at Wells. In fact, at Wells my tech assignments devolved in terms of the tech they were written/designed in. Being laid off gave my job a U turn.
All I got was coal in my stocking... thanks shart.
you can’t work during your notice period but can certainly work during severance. I am doing that now, double dipping.
Hope you don't get caught a lose your severance.
That happened to a co-worker of mine. She had contract work within a week and a new full time job within two months. She socked away a nice little nest egg for the next layoff.
I am hoping for a pecan pie.
I hope you guys sock that bonus green away. Only way to get ahead.
i hope this is me soon. im hopeful something is popping up in the next few weeks
Charlie is Yiddish for Klaus, so the world makes sense today.
Nice! That happened to me last year, was able to start a new job right after my 60 days was up and collected double checks for SEVERAL months. It was amazing!
