I've heard that a new tenant will be moving into the Barnhart center on 1/01/2025. If that's true, Wells Fargo employees will have to be out by December 2024. Can anyone confirm?

I heard the next big layoff is coming next month
They may have us wfh ft until they replace us. WF did that to a few teams when they closed Montgomery Park in Portland a year or so ago.
I've often wondered whether the school next door or Beaverton School District might take over the building. There have been contractors in the building recently, and some of them worked on the previous "remodel" a few years back. I don't think there's enough time for a new tenant to take over in January 2025.
Honestly curious who would take over Barnhart? The place is over 200,000 sq feet and primarily set up for a call center or operations type business. Last I heard businesses are moving out of the Portland area (WF, US Bank, Salesforce, etc), so I am genuinely curious what type of business would move into a facility that holds 2500 people, especially with so many other vacant commercial real estate offices in the area, including the large Sunset Park call center that WF recently exited. Any ideas or rumors of who would move into Barnhart?
I'm in the Estate Care Center and they have not told us one way or another.
All layoffs at Barnhart have been delayed until mid 2025, that’s what was confirmed by mgmt.
Nope. I've been told I'm safe until mid-2025
Nope. Not enough time
They are working on New Years Day? Seems unlikely.
Maybe Salem is next.
It'd be the greatest closure of a call center ever! Everyone would sing and cheer in excitement as the place was closed permanently. Never to reopened again. A season spectacular!
You're grammar needs improvement.
Did you mean you’re? You better ask Santa for grammar lessons.
Happy New You’re!
Barnhart employees are no better than barnyard animals in their little factory farm cubicles waiting to be sla-ghtered. Dec 2024 sounds right. Merry X-Mas! Your displaced!
