Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

RTO- Dell?

Dell told all sales staff to return to the office five days a week, giving two days' notice. Do we think we will be back in the office 5 days a week soon? I say they announce 5 days in office will be expected by January 1. They have been going about rto all wrong.

Not happening anytime soon. The bank is downsizing space nearly everywhere and won't have the space for 5 days a week unless they make a considerable reinvestment in the markets they shrunk in.

USB was late in the RTO game. Wells Fargo employees were jealous of us. I don’t think we will be 5 days for a very long time if ever.

I think as soon as all the hubs have been completed they will bring us back five days a week.

Until the king at JP Morgan Chase announces 5 days a week we will remain hybrid

Besides concerns about there not being enough desks for everyone, parking will be a concern as well. My hub’s parking structure cannot accommodate everyone if they were all to come in on the same day,

I agree once Trump is back in....things are going to turn around and once that happens there will be more job opportunities.

Forcing things in 2024 like old guard is not going to attract new talent or retain existing employees. Everything is in the sh----r. All they are missing is actual piles of sh-t in the middle of the hub floor.

If there are not enough desks spaces at your hub location, then you will just have to come in earlier to make sure you get a seat each day. If you arrive late, there is plenty of space to sit on the floor and work.

Sincerely,

I think once they finish rolling out the hubs they might, but they do not have the room in a lot of their bigger locations so I'm not sure how they'd do that uniformly. If I remember right places like chicago and Minneapolis don't have enough desk space for 5 days a week for all staff so who knows. Anything is possible and it's not out of line to just assume the worst because, well, we are the worst. Once the job market comes out of the toilet I think they'll see a lot of turnover.
