Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

I dare the Stank to go 5 days RTO next year

You might as well give me my package, because I won’t be doing sh-t.

We know why Sambar left. It was the Stinks 5 days RTO demands. I’ll follow Chris and jump from this sinking ship.

Amazon tried and polls show 75% of employees were looking for new jobs. Guess what Stank? This aint Amazon…

That will be the straw that breaks your back.

Can confirm 5 day RTO is coming next year.
LAN hours will be tracked/enforced too, maybe as early as this year.

There’s a long long line of ATT employees that are ready to retire. So many that the volunteers to be laid off is greater than what the business can allow.

At this point, ATT can’t afford to lose too many employees or they can’t manage the business.

I'm good with five days a week. Work 7 to 3. Lock the laptop down in my cube and never bring it home. Sounds doable.

Unemployment has been at or near its lowest level in 54 years over the past year. Added a whopping 254,000 jobs last month. The Dow and S&P 500 at all time highs. Inflation is at 2.4%

“I don't care, not my problem. It will sit on that desk and I will sit next to somebody. It is basically that way in many locations already. In many cases there are no cubes, just a table with clip on dividers.”

Oh, you guys get clip on dividers? That’s so nice. Many of the work stations in Alpharetta have literally nothing between them. Hahahah they hate us

“Do you really think T is in the same league as Amazon?”

Rofl of course not.
They can require 5 day RTO and people to move cross country because they pay fairly and are paying for relocation packages!
Stankey and T are delusional, it’s why everyone is lying and not moving or returning to office!

"Amazon tried and polls show 75% of employees were looking for new jobs."

Thats sounds like a victory to them not a short coming. That is exactly what they want.

@oan+1uVxo0pi

You referred to 75% of Amazon employees planning to leave. The response was no they would not leave - because the tech industry su-ks right now for remote work. So Amazon people aren’t going ANYWHERE.

At no point was I referring to you, selfish FCC wannabe poser. Except that time, that was for you.

Not sure with anyone else, it kinda feels like we all work for the government now. The way this country is rolling, probably be true sooner than later.

See you shortly Mr. Compliance

As mentioned several times over on this board: your response is one of the reasons they are doing RTO.

To get rid of weak minded individuals without paying them out the door. Replaced with a DEI hire that knows no different. You are a number hurting the bottom line and we get more tax incentives for DEI replacements. Betting your liberated contacts did not let you know that. Go get em' tiger!

Unfortunately, 75% of employees wanting to leave is exactly what Amazon wants. And it’s exactly what ATT wants as well.

That being said, not caring that 75% of your employees want to leave for a policy that you could easily roll back if you wanted is a good reminder that not only do these companies not care about you, you are the dirt on the bottom of their shoes.

“Amz employees aren’t going anywhere. They’ll comply. The tech industry is impossible to find work right now.”

WHO says I’m in tech? I’m on compliance and the government is hiring! I’ll have a job at the FCC tomorrow.

That was the Biden/Harris economy.

Once Trump returns, he will create more jobs than any president in history, again!
