@1eci your statement makes no sense.

First you claim someone dissatisfied with their annual merit increase should get a new job with bonuses (why plural?).

Then you claim you got a 30% pay increase the last two years without changing jobs.

In my decades working here, I only know of one person who ever got a raise in the double-digits. They werer chronically underpaid and were given an exceeds rating because their manager felt bad that a job reclassification took some pay away from them.

Getting that two years in a row means you work for someone who's looking out for you, you hoard work from your peers (lots of that going on now) or you're FOS. I'm willing to bet it's the last one, but considering how this management team loves nepotism, it could be the first one.

One option is to work harder and work your way up to a job with bonuses? I’ve gotten a 30% pay increase the last two years, all within the same job, just by working super hard.

Forming a union makes sense. 1-2% raises are not enough.

Such a perfect post. All these people trying to turn this bank into public sector with their “pay grades”. So lazy it’s just unreal.

Lol. A Union for exactly what? For all you lackeys to sit around and commiserate? Wells isn’t laying off people because they are initiating Union moves, they are laying off because far too many have been here so long they can’t accept even the smallest amount of change.

Wells has literally done nothing illegal or even actually detrimental. I am convinced all of this crying at the bank is being done by people who have been here far too long, have zero ambition and have never had to actually work. They are all scared and doing nothing but grasping at straws to maintain the status quo. Just find a better job if you don’t like it, super simple solution that intelligent people have been employing for a lifetime.

Now let’s see how many nerves I strike by downvote count. You simpleton clowns.

A Tech Union would super- hyper- accelerate layoffs.
