@iqr You may be right. It's been at the end of October for several of us this week.
I'm an L and I was let go today. 12 years employed at BNY.
It is but it would be pick and choose! 6th Nov followed by Jan. Dec being explored but not final.
Don’t let the door hit you on your way out.
Sadness ensues.
In few years all company will be restructured based on P-M. Some positions become redundant, I don’t think it applies to a specific level.
Is the sub-pay cap of 3 to 4 months official?
BE in December with January layoff when the new 3 or 4 month subpay cap goes in effect. How to be truly sc--wed.
Yep November. And the lucky winners will get rated B.E. as a going away present. The Bank of New India loves cheap and disposable. Meanwhile keep watching the recordings on loop of RV telling you how great he is with no sound.
@iqr There is always a layoff in November.
FWIW - there are no LO in Nov - whatever level. The current water cooler (or Starbucks latte ) rumor mill suggests that 10% is forced BE which results in January 2025 LO which can be significant.
@faa+1uZufGJQ Obviously. I mean they did layoff all the lower levels in a bunch of depts and move it offshore. So, yes it would make sense that US offices are top heavy since they chose to keep the managers on up for now to review the work.
All that means is they feel they need more of that level in India. So the more they hire upper management there the more it turns into offshore being our boss and the tides are turned until none of us are left. I just say hurry up and get it over with!
It’s about time - the amount of SVP’s in this org is redic !!
Mostly L
