Any idea

*Hopefully Friday, and then they can go back out on Wednesday 9/4 and restart the strike clock.
That would definitely bad-faith bargaining and way too obvious. Do that, and I don't think there would be a resolution before the end of the year.*
The NLRB definitely would not looking favorably on CWA if they did that. And it would definitely hurt their credibility and leverage at the table.
If that happens, T would probably have a counter ULP filed before their hand could hit the door on the way out.

Idk when it will end but the longer we’re out the less we’re gonna get
“ Where are they picketing in ATL?”
At nearly all AT&T work locations.
Where are they picketing in ATL?

Hopefully Friday, and then they can go back out on Wednesday 9/4 and restart the strike clock. This way they get paid Labor Day and don’t lose their benefits. Keep going don’t let T win!
L3harris cuts off any medical insurance the day you leave the payroll. I think AT&T keeps your medical benefits when on strike. I worked for both companies. The insurance can be a problem if you have to pay out of pocket during work stoppage. Insurance companies are complicated, sometimes like the will of God.
“…:guess we could do helmet cams for management too….the ones that haven’t been cut yet.”
Hi I’m like the only manger that’s left and I refuse to wear a helmet, so.
…:guess we could do helmet cams for management too….the ones that haven’t been cut yet.
Tomorrow as far as I’m concerned. Company should just give you want you want, but add monitoring conditionals for all the tech titles. 360 cameras on the trucks and in cab camaeras. Body cams wouldn’t be a bad idea either. Tie all of it to COBC in the contract and spend millions on the backend processes and software development. Then we just sit back and let you do all the work for us. No more weeks and months documenting performance and useless coaching. Just wait for dumazz union people to do dumazz union stuff and BAM!!!! You’re gone!
So yes, you’d be making $50/hr, but we wouldn’t need to worry about you not performing your jobs anymore. Like some kind of overnight miracle, sh-t would get done more efficiently and reliably and personal injury and vehicle incidents would drop so fast you can’t believe it. Would probably take the company a few years to break even, but works out in the long run.
Hope soon, but making due as a subcontractor for Comcast installing new service for customers with AT&T service issues.
“ When I googled ‘CWA District 3 contract update’ this morning”
You must not be competent at googling. if you went to the union district 3 site or local Facebook pages you would see many pics of what you can’t have, oh that’s right you aren’t a member so you can’t. lol! Good try troll, we picketed, ate and left before your 12 hours were up. We work in the heat all the time and are smart enough to know when it is time to leave.
See you in the morning we will wave as you drive by to your CP assignment. Stankey says, you matter and live your destination.
When I googled ‘CWA District 3 contract update’ this morning, a headline popped up that a tentative agreement had been reached. I was eagerly anticipating going back to work today. When I went by the office at noon in my air conditioned car, it was 102 degrees outside. There was not one red shirt, person, grill full of steaks, tents, chairs or sign to be found. The street corner that everyone was working previously was bare. Where was everyone? Are you guys working again? Do you not work at the street corner in the extreme heat? I wanted to feed my kid some of those steaks you guys have been talking about all week. They sound yummy!
2nd class. Words that will live in empathy.
The company cannot win unless the employees cross the line. 17000 strong it can’t be done.
No lockout, ULP strike. Troll on.
I wonder if there will be a lockout.
The Union has contingencies for any medical emergencies or ongoing chronic issues. Contact your local for details. There are other options as well. Don’t believe the company trolls, they are just mad that Stankey forced them on CP assignments. Welcome to our world of work/life forced unbalance, managers. You matter!
No rush, take your time. I’m going on a 4 day chartered fishing trip off of Florida 🎣 with my buddies. Already did my picket duty this week, will pull extra duty upon return. Maybe by that time the company will decide to bargain in good faith.
The day after the last subcontractor has left the last " no access " flyer on the central office portable toilets. Only then .
The day after they figure out they lost their benefits for a month.
When they reach an agreement. Sorry, not sarcastic, just trying to be funny and provide a little levity. Seriously, hopefully not too long. Only winner is T executives.
When do benefits end?
Either before week is out or after Labor Day. I’m good with either one or longer would be ok too because enjoying time at the lake. 🏄♂️🍺
The day after tomorrow.

Shout out to retiree JT! He brought Firehouse subs to the picket line today, they were awesome! The members appreciate the support!
When the corporation has milked the last of it's daily management team and it's rapidly dwindling customer base. The despicable union rebellion must be broken, no matter what the cost. Only then will the Alpha management team swoop in and save the day. Customers will pay thrice the competitions price to return. There will be trumpets from above and global jubilation.
I’m installing cable. Not much but it’s survival
Company is in endless debts, struggling to repay them, Stankey is knee deep in ‘cut literally everyone’ mode.
I suspect Stankey won’t blink until something breaks hoping the other side will blink first.
So something has to break to make Stankey believe he’s wrong (unlikely as he never thinks he’s wrong) or the union has to cave.
Which do you think is more likely?
What strike?
Hope not soon, I’m getting some needed projects done at the house. Usually forced OT this time of year and too tired to do anything on off day. Another month would be awesome!
CP/contractors you got this, try not to ki-l yourself or wreck my vehicle. Thanks for the assist!
In 12 hours, 15 mins and 34 seconds.
Not anytime soon. The union workforce has shown that they aren’t willing or able to play the long game this time around. New generation and different demographic of employee. The company smells blood and will use this as step one in its plan to break the union. When CWA has to start paying out of its strike fund and benefits cease, people will be crossing the line in droves. Buckle your seat belt.
