Despite rescinding the invites to those folks in roles that have historically attended GSX/Impact, the VPs are on their way! They deserve to have some fun, as I’m sure they’re exhausted, after all being this lame must be hard work! So for everyone left behind, let’s enjoy the week!

With all the buying of companies left and right it’s like they don’t have a business plan. They’re just watching MSNBC and trying to keep up with the Joneses :-)
Yeah Liz venting talks a great talk, but she’s not listening to her VPs regarding customer success and evidently she has this pattern of being a dictator the whole 22 years she’s been at Cisco. There was a comment that Cisco should start over with executive level, I agree. The fact that Cisco competitors their stock prices are very established and ours is still stuck between 40 and 50 should be embarrassing to the board of directors.
I work at one of Cisco’s largest global partners. CX has, and always was, mentioned like they were separate to Cisco which we raised multiple times. They ARE Cisco not some separate company but nobody listened. Some of CX’s ideas were so bad and stupid that when meeting at the Partner Advisory Board special sessions had to be held to listen to all the complaints and “why nots” from Partners. How MM was allowed to do what she did was beyond us, AW had to go as well and how Cisco Snr Execs didn’t stop all the nonsense was beyond us. They should all be removed and Cisco start again. Total and utter disaster.
this is how i know most of the posts on here are BS.
CX is seriously affected this LR as customer delivery shrinks or reduced due to budgets and margin. Unless one is on high visibility delivery, expect movement under your floor. CX leaders, as always are clueless and just holding on to their own jobs, at whatever cost, including showing door to their teams if it saves their own job.
Don’t trust anyone to come to your rescue. Most managers and directors can be easily sent packing without affecting CX delivery or Customers Satisfaction matrices.
Always travel for the higher ups for wherever they fancy going.
An IC going to see a customer or wanting to touch base with his/her team for team building and collaboration has become more difficult in recent times.
Hey-ho we’ll get to see it on LinkedIn and on our next team calls.
