Oversupply of non-technical PM management types are a big reason a lot of tech companies are in the situation they’re in…they’re really not necessary unless your project is absolutely massive and your devs can’t manage their own Jira…we have actually done away with pretty much all PM’s in our team/org.

That being said, I feel for you, and I hope you didn’t move for this joke of a company.

just completed a PMP course and the volunteers that run the internal team keep dropping, missed class sessions because of people being surplused. I think the damage to the positive culture is showing serious signs. ATT won't have a choice but to outsource everything soon. Not the way I'd run a company, but you do you Stank
