We will know only when he gets rid of bad products in networking (DNAC?) and gets rid of leadership that has caused the pain (so far the leadership has not been held accountable for the multiple mishaps and so much in missed opportunities). Imagine if we had a single OS and a single (good) automation solution across all our enterprise products. If he quickly puts us on that path so that customers start liking our products again, then he might have done something good for Cisco. Till then, the jury is out.

More companies are acquired usually means higher top line but you also got a problem with increased headcount which hurts the bottom line. This is the reason why Cisco is constantly laying off employees.
