Just had a meeting about oboe many ppl we need in order to stay open here in SLC. My manager seems to act like she/he knows we will be here for awhile. But he says the number of people that leave our department (which I noticed a lot have left) will determine if we stay open or not . Does anyone actually know what direction we are going in ?

I was displaced when the Columbia site closed. Keep in mind the Columbia location was the largest Banker Connection site. Your manager doesn’t know for sure. Don’t hold your breath, just accept the fact that with location strategy no one is safe.
Interesting…..That site is where one of my teammates were told to relocate to in order to keep their job, pre-Covid under Saul.
That person was one of the first to be laid off when location strategy started up again…..
Of in doubt, review the location strategy lists on Teamworks. I am at a non-core site, per the list, so it’s a matter of when at this point.
Yet.
Salt Lake is a core location for some LOBs. WIM is one of them, so it’s not closing.
