D3 Strike Lunch Menu

Eating good while picketing and waiting on the ULP charges to be investigated by the General Counsel at the NLRB. Shout out to all the social media company managers that keep posting that we are Second Class Employees, Union Slugs and are threatening retaliation upon return. It helps to keep our morale up and determination to stay out as long as needed because they are in violation of the Wagner Act. It also exposes the toxicity and mindset from within that we deal with on a daily basis.

Todays Lunch:

Chick-fil-A chicken sandwiches with sides of waffle fries, fruit cups or mac & cheese. Dessert was freshly made cupcakes, cookies and a big scoop of kiss our a-s. 🫏

Today’s menu was basic, grilled hamburgers, hotdogs, chips and watermelon. Now at home and having a cold frosted mug of 🍺 watching the Braves.

Getting hot out there 97 degrees, the cold front has moved on. Stay safe out there managers, only a couple more weeks but it’s contingent on good faith bargaining.

β€œgrilled some steaks today. had a beer. I'm a manager too. L4. Barely workin from home.”

Not surprising and we understand, a lot of managers WFH. When we call them during work hours we hear all kind of things going that’s not company related. Kids playing, a lot of people talking in the background at a store, sports bar noise, TV playing, lawnmower running, birds chirping, blow dryer at the beauty shop, some even say the are playing golf, etc..

So, grilling steaks and drinking beer during regular working hours is normal in the management ranks.

β€œ We’ll see how you feel about it in a month.”

We are worried about the CP team, a lot of them are our managers. Stankey is taking advantage of them, they are exhausted. Exhaustion creates potential for serious accidents.

It’s all fun and games for the first couple of weeks. Insurance stops Sunday. We’ll see how you feel about it in a month. The paychecks not coming in will dampen your little ULP strike before long.

Here’s what they really talk about:
Man I cannot afford my F350 payment if we don’t get this settled quick, pass the ketchup. Yeah I asked my union rep when we might get strike pay, he told me September 32nd is the first installment. Oh ge-z, that’s great news man. How’s that new Jetski ? Great man just $289 a month for 345 months. He-l yeah.
