Well Well, the company showed up at the table with offers. They want to decimate Article 14. They offered the WT a $3 increase for meal reimbursement when forced out of town. Wages and Benefits are up in the air. After some BS moves, janking, etc. and months of pre table negotiations along with 2 weeks of strike the company offered $3 and take aways. Att Att shoulda, woulda, coulda settled and still can. This Union represents all employees under this contract that helped Att profit $72+B in 2023 an increase from 2022. They made a mistake with the 2nd class label. He-l, everyone felt it but to be labeled that by your employer is despicable. Stay strong cause once it's gone you will never get it back with this employer and they aim to strip you of your dignity and the ability to take care of yourself and those you love and care for.

"NEED, not GREED"
Not in this century
Rookies and company slugs are a hard bunch. Rookies don't understand what happened as to why the contracts come at different times due to divestiture(understandable) and company slugs just leave a trail of sn-t wherever they go. A biscuit for an increase in health premiums equals to an 8% increase to mismanagement. Mismanagement trolls want everyone to be as miserable as they are. Oh yeah, try to lay off grooming the church kids.
What I don’t understand is why don’t all cwa districts strike in unison . All are out or about to be out of contract . All strike at once so the company really feels it
Youth group in our church wanted to use money collected from their summer fund raising activities to help the families of CWA picketers they had seen on the news. We match their earnings with a 300% contribution if membership approves via a majority vote. There was a lot of debate before the vote. It was struck down 168 to 34. This is the first time in 7 years our membership voted against a motion from our youth group. We always follow a vote with discussion. The prevailing message to these young people:
NEED, not GREED
Most counties have a free clinic for the indigent
School year is starting and kids are going to begin catching the usual sicknesses. When do the CWA members lose their health benefits?
So many good people can't find good paying work, and these lazy humps don't want to work.
This is a good example of how far apart the mentality is. Going from $37 to $40 for meals while working out of town. That is an 8% increase. Most people would be okay with that. As for the rest of it. You won’t allow contractors to come in, you don’t want temps, you complain about forced OT, and now you don’t even want other CWA brothers in. Let’s not vote on who we think is bargaining in bad faith.
Re; Hmmm, Your new I get it.
1fmm, It depends if your staying at the Ritz or Motel 6. Meals are a bowl of rice and a chunk of meat or tofo accompanied by a receipt for reimbursement.
$3 increase for meal reimbursement when forced out of town.
Out of curiosity, what is it now? Personally, I've always found per diems profitable. If you stay at a hotel with free breakfast, that gives you more for lunch and dinner. I never understood guys who ate better on assignment than their regular. I don't buy the most expensive menu item just bc someone else is paying.
IDK what the CP managers are getting, but I did see one use part of his per diem to buy waters for the prem security officers. Thought that was decent of him.
so after reading article 14 there are only two clauses, the use of contractors and supervisors doing craft work. hmmmm
EAP? Lad, I'm royalty here. Now that our biggest cost is being scrapped off the bottom of this elite corporations shoe, great things are going to happen.
I want my three dollars!
I don't think they are original. Some were scolded and sent back for remedial training and replaced with a clone.
For me it was the opening sentence “Today we reverted to negotiations on the record with the original Company bargaining team…”. You mean the team that wouldn’t bargain in good faith?
Christopher T Rice, now that's funny sh-t. Brought back memories of Malcom Bass.
Same drama different day.
My turn to buy breakfast for picket line, Dunkin’ Donuts box of Joe and egg bites from Starbucks.
AT&T still has way too much headcount. Reducing headcount by another 250k employees would help the bottom line.
"What exactly is the problem with agreeing to allow a D6 CWA member in say OH or IN from being loaned into D3? It is within the CWA and I believe it already happens in reverse."
because we already have too many yankees that have moved herento get away from problems that they created. we all full up.
if there is no work in those states or districts they can always bid on open jobs.
this should tell you how important d3 is to the bottom line.
That's great! Put some Stank on it!
Yawn, watching Braves game and drinking a cold one. What’s for lunch tomorrow?
I remember when Christopher T. Rice decided that you have to be over 100+ miles from your reporting location to receive meal reimbursement.
So us that supported the field just quit going out of town.
That same mo--n decided we could not drive our personal cars to help the field. So funny when we only had 1 car shared amongst 300 employees. Once I got an emergency call & told the field that I can't drive.
We are vigilant, we are powerful, we are successful, we are American Thieves and Thugs. Now that the union scourge and their unreasonable wages are gone, we shall have record profits again.
CP managers are loving the 12 hour grind and sales are going broke with no installs. Stay strong, In Unity!

See ya su-kers!
You have no dignity when you are begging…..
“ Wages and Benefits are up in the air”
I think you meant gone into thin air.
Fire and replace.
We have neutered the union dogs. There will be no further interference from the 3rd class underlings.
